Hi Kathy, It’s a strip of fabric with a curve at the end. I zigzagged the collar on in a method similar to this: http://www.craftstylish.com/item/8413/how-to-sew-a-classic-t-shirt-neckband/page/all Then I top-stitched using a 3-step zigzag catching the seam allowance. The reason the collar stands is because the fabric is a thick polyester ponte. I hope that helps and good luck with yours! 🙂 LikeLike Reply
