The Dandy Ceremony

Andie (nee Leathley) and Dale Wells were married on July 2nd, 2015, witnessed by family and friends, by Helen Sweet (officiant through All Seasons Weddings).

We heartily recommend booking Helen (through All Seasons) to officiate your ceremony. She was warm, charming, and very accomdating. She helped us create a memorable ceremony.

The ceremony occured at Allan Gardens Horticultural Center (19 Horticultural Ave., Toronto).

The Dandy Reception

Rob and Lynda Leathley hosted a reception for Andie and Dale, to celebrate the newlyweds nuptials at The Social Capital Theatre (154 Danforth Ave., Toronto).

We perform regularly in the space but this was our first non-performance focussed event. Ralph MacLeod and Carmine Lucarelli provided above and beyond service on the day, and welcome expert advice beforehand.

Our Indian buffet dinner was from Kama Classical Indian Cuisine.

Ken Clarke and his staff delivered and served a succulent selection of vegetarian and meat-based dishes as well as dessert. Many of our guests complimented the dishes for the level of spice and taste as well as the generous portions.

Our late night pizza party was lovingly donated from Panago Pizza, along with a Star Trek pizza cutter.

We love this company! They are dedicated to supporting the community one #randomactofpizza at a time. The pizza variety was great and everyone enjoyed the late night snack.

Live entertainment was provided by Nerds With Guitars.

Alex James and Sean May are a superb guitar-duo, able to read and please the crowd. They had even the most reticent listener up dancing. Their song arrangements, harmonies, vocals, and humour will lend to any feel-good event.

Gifts

As requested, some people donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank. The Wells family gifted the couple with a 12-day Scandinavian and Russian honeymoon aboard Celebrity Cruises. Family and friends also gifted the couple with flight and spending money. Coworkers gifted the couple with gift cards to furnish their place. Thank you!

The Dandy Sociable

Andie and Dale held a casual, pre-ceremony celebration on May 29th, 2015 at the Imperial Pub (54 Dundas St. E., Toronto).

The Newmans and their staff were not just supportive but welcomed us as family. We love performing in the backroom but also enjoy the generous portions of pub grub.

Though not the focus, family and friends gifted the couple with enough funds for a mini-honeymoon to Niagara Falls with spending money. Thank you!

The Dandy Proposal

On November 1st, 2013, Dale proposed to Andie at The Social Capital Theatre.
