Star Trek: Discovery – Debuts September 24, 2017

CBS released a quick teaser video yesterday, announcing the debut of their latest Star Trek franchise, Star Trek: Discovery, on Sunday, September 24, 2017.

Here are the Canadian broadcaster’s plans, as posted on StarTrek.com:

Space Channel will launch the first two episodes of Star Trek: Discovery on Sunday, September 24 at 8:30 PM ET.

The first eight episodes will run from Sunday, September 24 through Sunday, November 5. The season will then resume with the second chapter in January 2018.

Every episode will also be available to Space subscribers on the newly launched Space GO app, in addition to being available on Space.ca and participating On Demand channels. Star Trek: Discovery will also stream exclusively in Canada on CraveTV, with full scheduling details to be released in the coming weeks.

Netflix will launch Star Trek: Discovery on Monday, September 25 to countries outside of the U.S. and Canada.

If you’re a Canadian Trekkie and you don’t have Bell Media’s cable or streaming packages, it seems waiting until Sept 24 to get it would be highly illogical.
