And:

  • Palcoholics (Sketch/improv comedians)
Palcoholics are Matt Nadeau and Aaron Peever, a couple neat best friends that use the art of sketch comedy and going wildly off script to mess with each other and give the audience a good time. A bit of sketch, a bit of Improv, kinda drunk, usually funny. Aside from playing in bars and comedy-friendlyvenues around Toronto, they have performed in Ottawa Fringe Festival, Toronto and Montreal Sketch Festivals, and a few times in Penetanguishene for some reason.
  • Courtney Skye (Stand-up comedian)
Courtney Skye produces the Laughternoon Show Saturdays at the Central, Bad Bitches monthly at Comedy Bar, Open Gigi, an open mic for mostly women and some dudes at Saving Gigi on Wednesdays. Courtney is also a member of Manifest Destiny’s Child and has performed at Field Trip, the SheDot Festival and opened for Elvira Kurt. Her comedy is witty, dark and provocatively feminist.
  • Al Val (Stand-up comedian)
Little is known about Al Val besides the fact that he emerged from a barn five years ago with a notepad full of jokes. He is 132 years old but eats spinach and drinks water so you can’t tell unless he takes off his pants.

And your host: The Velvet Duke
Velvet Duke is a Toronto performer trained in musical, narrative, and short form improvisation.

Celebrating 28 years in comedy. It’s time to get raucous.
