The Sampler is a fast-paced comedy contest — where performers have a limited time to win over the audience. Feed your competitive spirit while getting morsels of local comedy.

Monday, August 8th at 8:30 p.m. sharp
Bar open on the second floor at 7:30 p.m., doors open at 8:15 p.m.

Location: The Social Capital Theatre (154 Danforth Ave., 3rd floor)

Tickets: $10 available online through the Ticket Booth and at the door.

Freshly returned from performing throughout the States,  Jennifer McAuliffe (stand-up) will act as host and judge to keep the competition moving and entertain between rounds.

These competing Acts need to entertain you to advance from amuse-bouche to full course meal:

• Alan Shane Lewis (stand-up)
• Courtney Gilmour (stand-up; So Fresh n So Clean)
• Cara Connors (stand-up; We called your mom)
• El Essdee (sketch)
• Daryl Morey (improv – Keenan Mak, Simon McCamus)

Cheer loudly to give one competing act their just desserts — the headline spot at a future show!

Stand-up Aaron Wry will close the show with a hot stand-up set. Aaron won The Sampler back in March!
