Kraken Not Stirred

Our friends in High Heels Lo Fi suggested we check out and book this new electrofilk band, Kraken Not Stirred. It took us a while, but we finally appeased the mighty Kraken for the honour of hosting the first public performance.

The Kraken, wishing to express his fascination with these stories, now uses his highly-delveloped psionic powers to influence the weak, suggestible, mind of a pathetic human musician. The Kraken beams to this human songs that he, the mighty Kraken, has composed. It’s only a matter of time before the human’s brain can take no more psionic abuse, liquifies, and runs out his ears, mercifully ending his land-dwelling existence. But until then, you, puny human, can enjoy the fantastic awesomeness that is… KRAKEN NOT STIRRED!

We’ve enjoyed what we’ve heard from the band so far, on SoundCloud, with a variety of musical styles and genres to express the mighty Kraken’s sense of humour.

The band is understandably part of the Geek Bands Canada initiative along with our other nerdy band friends.

Whether they play elecrofilk, rock and roll, or love ballad, you are going to want to check them out at our next show!
