Garrett Jamieson is basically the devil
It isn’t like he is the redheaded stepchild of the Toronto stand up comedy scene; the crowd loves him everywhere he plays.
One on one, Garrett is a quiet and engaging guy. And then he hits the stage. The guy is a charmer.
As with any good comedian, he tailors his material to his crowd, but in the end he draws them down into his twisted world. I’ve seen him reduce uptight, resistant audiences to puddles of laughter with his irreverent jokes and an unabashed devilish twinkle in his eyes.
At the next episode of Holodeck Follies, in a couple of days, come test your resolve, or give in completely to Garrett’s devil-may-care swagger.
