Chelsea is a Canadian Comedy Award winning musician/writer/comedian who writes and performs naughty folk with a satirical twist. Chelsea dedicates her time to offending large groups of people with a warped, wicked wit and innocent irreverence that has been described as “savagely funny comedy” (Now Magazine) and “raunchy folk music” (Montreal Hour).
I started interacting with Chelsea P. Manders on Twitter a month ago because I liked some of the things being retweeted by mutual friends. Chelsea is another busy and popular performer, with gigs around town and preparing for a tour of the Fringe festival in Ottawa, Toronto, Edinburgh; check out her fundraiser show at the end of May. When I messaged her and told her the premise of the show, she said YES AND right away!
Chelsea is our feature performer for March 5th because I couldn’t narrow down what songs she might share with us.
Like Bitches Leave, Chelsea’s material won’t be for the faint of heart. I should probably message Kris Siddiqi and get him in on the act too. It will make the Star Trek material seem so wholesome by contrast.
